Bojangles Targets January Sysdine Completion

Bojangles' Restaurants Inc. expects to have Sysdine installed in all 153 of its company-operated locations by the end of January. Sysdine will also be offered to Bojangles' 273 franchised locations.

Bojangles, headquartered in Charlotte, was recently recognized as being among North Carolina's top privately-held companies. The annual list published in Business North Carolina magazine recognizes successful companies headquartered in North Carolina.


Beginnings and Directions

The first Bojangles' was opened by founders Jack Fulk and Richard Thomas in July 1977 in the South End area of Charlotte at the corner of West Boulevard and South Tryon Street. As Bojangles' continues to expand in its home market of the Carolinas, the company will increase its presence with openings slated for Virginia, Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee.


The Dining Experience

Each of the new Bojangles' restaurants are built to the specs outlined in the chain's recently introduced prototype. Interior and exterior designs reflect a shift towards fast casual dining, blending quick service with a casual dining atmosphere. Bojangles' Restaurants Inc. serves only the highest quality and most flavorful food to its loyal customers.

Bojangles' kitchens prepare all their proprietary menu items from scratch. A special blend of seasonings gives the food its unique Bojangles' flavor. The restaurants' core menu features Bojangles' Cajun Spiced chicken, fresh, made-from-scratch buttermilk biscuits and legendary iced tea steeped the old-fashioned way. The breakfast menu offers biscuit sandwiches such as Cajun Filet, seasoned sausage, steak, country ham, and egg and cheese biscuits. Bojangles' also features unique fixin's such as Dirty Rice, Cajun Pintos and Seasoned Fries.
